FSA Mailer
Microsoft communication server limits are 20,000 per hour currently. We constantly monitor and request Microsoft rate-limit increases as needed. Let us know in advance if you have large numbers to process, so we can ensure that no failures happen.

Search: Locate user e-mails by username or e-mail address. Search results will display using the following icons, each indicating a specific status.
Left icon column:
Grey Parthenon - An email was sent to the respective user via the Mailer system. Each email includes a personalized link to enroll in BioProof-ID.
Black User - The user followed through on the identity verification process.
Purple User - Agent took action, most likely to exempt the user manually.
Right icon column:
Green envelope - Microsoft communication server indicated successful acceptance of e-mail. There is no automatic method in place yet to check any potential NDR (Non Delivery Report) afterwards due to MailboxFull, or other SMTP errors, but BSI engineers can investigate detailed Microsoft logs if needed. The "Resend" button allows easy retry on sending the e-mail in the event the mailbox issue has been resolved.
Green check + Envelope - User verified their identity. The envelope is to indicate that a confirmation e-mail was successfully handed off to the Microsoft communication server.
Yellow Flag - Suspicious activity detected for this user from the DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles responsible for issuing driver's licenses, but also state-IDs), or SIF (Suspicious Identity Fraud) checks. These could be false-positives if AAMVA data or other government information is out of sync with the physical ID-card, but we are working on limiting these as much as possible. FSA funds should not be distributed until more details are examined.
Block - The DMV or SIF checks flagged this user for highly suspicious activity, such as fake driver's license ID. FSA funds should not be distributed until more details are examined.

Upload CVS
The following fields are required. The format must be a comma-separated document with a header referencing the columns listed below. Please see the bottom of this page for a "MailerUploadExample". This document can be reused later for the "Checker CVS", if desired, as it contains the required "id" field.
- id
- firstName
- lastName
- primaryemail (this should be a institution email address)
- personalemail (optional, see note below)
Once uploaded, the system will immediately start sending out emails to the respective users with a personal link to go through the
BioProof-ID FSA process.
Uploading Users Without an Institution Email
The "personalemail" is a carbon-copy (CC) to the primary one, to increase exposure as students might not notice e-mails on their institution inbox. Leave the value as NULL, as in
NO value if it is not used, as it can otherwise cause Microsoft communication server to deny sending the email to primary contact as well. For students without an institution e-mail address, their personal one needs to be placed in the "primaryemail" field. On future connection with the BioSig-ID™ system this will automatically be updated on our end to stay in sync with your institution records. The only purpose of us retaining this information is to make communication from us to the student personal, and to make reports easier to read.
Tip: Additionally, agents can use the PREVIEW option themselves, to click the link on behalf of the student to force a user profile to be created. This is needed to allow for further admin actions such as location in managed user search, or exemption.
IMPORTANT: Don't forget to add a commend when a user is manually exempted in the comments tab on the user profile. Locate Managed Users through a search and click on the comments tab within their profile.

Resend BioProof-ID Enrollment Email with Link
After you have loaded records in the Mailer tab, locate the user be their BSI username.
Locate the record with the closed green envelope and click "Resend".
Green Envelope ResendA window will pop up. Make sure that user record is check and then click "Enqueue". Once selected, the user will receive a duplicate enrollment email.
Enqueue Preview
Once a student is added to the BioSig-ID™ system, any future communication is done via the primary e-mail address only. It may therefore be important to ensure users know how to access their institution e-mail inbox. It might be useful to whitelist no-reply@biosig-id.com to ensure it does not end up in the junk/spam folder.
Upload CSV
Only the "id"
field is required for the checker. This field should contain the unique identifiers of students who you added to the CSV Mailer process earlier. All other fields will be ignored.
The file must be formatted as a comma-separated document (CSV).
Refer to the "CheckerUploadExample" at the bottom of this page for guidance.
You may reuse your "Mailer CSV" list if it includes the appropriate "id" field.
