Blackboard BioSig-ID™ Report
The BioSig-ID™ Dashboard reports only work when there is student activity within those courses.
To find out which Blackboard courses are configured correct before they open, or to identify courses that still need to be configured, there is a course-construct report within the Blackboard Administrator Panel.
Under the "Tools and Utilities" section there should be the "BioSig-ID™ Report" option. If not please contact your BSI representative to assist you with installation.
Filters can be configured to generate a basic report or add more details. Due to the different combinations a multitude of reports are available. The filters are as follows:
- Course ID filter - Search for courses matching a full or partial course ID.
- Enrollment term - Reduce the time it takes to generate a report by limiting the courses down to an enrollment term (course count is listed, and use the search box to quickly narrow the results down).
- Show (group by) instructors - Courses will be grouped by their respective instructor. If a course has multiple teachers assigned then the course entry will be duplicated.
- Show module item titles - The basic report will show a simple 'Yes' if the BioSig‑ID™ enrollment instructions are added to the course, and a numerical count for the amount of `Quiz Intercepts` and `Tool Instances` that are published. Activating this setting will provide additional details regarding the Blackboard module item title of each instance.
- Folders - This includes name of folders within the course.
- Documents - List documents, such as 'Page' for the enrollment/practice instructions.
- Show courses - Offers the ability to quickly filter out the courses using BioSig‑ID™ or to only show the courses that still need to be configured.
- Course published state - Allows you to further filter the courses based on whether or not they are published.
The Excel report only looks for BioSig‑ID™ module items.
Recommended defaults are to activate "Show module item titles" to get a report that is the most informative. Grouping by instructors should be avoided unless you have a specific need such as communicating with instructors to discuss usage within all their courses.

Expect each course to take at least 3-to-4 seconds, so when your selection leads to a thousand courses, you need to keep the report running for at least an hour. Considering narrowing down the results to a smaller term, or use the course-ID filter. Once you've experienced the results, you can expand the range, just know that API failures can occur if the report takes too long and API authorization expired.
